Pretty much been a glock guy. Was in academy the other night looking at the gen5s. Gun counter guy brought out the p320 in fde. Fit my hand well. The first time ive ever had academy do this, he removed the trigger lock and let me feel the trigger pull and reset. To me felt oh so much better than my glocks. It felt like a well made pistol, but looks ugly as can be. Im looking for a new 40 to add to the collection. Currently have a g23c and g23 both gen 3. Carry the g23c and g23 stays in the truck. Also looking at the fns40. Anyone have any input? Mainly on the p320?

First off I can't believe anybody would call another pistol ugly when comparing it to a Glock. bolt

Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

Clock is great about making YOUR Glock lose $200 in value every year they come out with another "GEN" . Just like Golf and Archery. pay 1500 for this years model, next year its worth $700.

The P-320 is the best striker fired gun for the money. IMO

Look at Century Arms (Canik) Great guns, right there with Sig 320 and the Walthers. $2-300 less expensive. Check them out on YOUTUBE

I had the canik for a week the elite. Great trigger bit imo to light to carry. I had couple shots go off I didn't intend to fire as I was taking up on the trigger. Guess I'm to used to the glocks take up. I probably could of gotten used to it but made $100 off the sale. Was happy.

Seen several 320’s have light strikes at USPSA matches.

The secret to a long life is to try not to shorten it.

The thing I don't like about the P320 Carry is the grip length. It's basically a Compact slide on a full-frame grip. However, you can always order the compact grip for around $40.

I have the 320c-9-fde. I shot a bit over 300 rounds of reloads yesterday (124gr plated rn, S&B SP primers, 5.1gr Hodgdon CFE). I also shot a couple of magazines with 147gr JHP. My total round count is somewhere between 550-600 rounds. I've never had a single hiccup with the p320c. Mine has not been "upgraded" and I'm a little nervous to do so at this point.

Have a lead on one in 40. Nitron version with std sights, 2 mags been upgraded for $450. About 500 rnds fired. I'm seriously considering it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but As okststefan stated above, I can order the compact or subcompact frame in fde for about $40 and it will be easier to carry.

Love my 320Carry. I like the full length grip and shorter slide for concealed carry.

Did you send it back to Sig for the upgrade? If so, what were your thoughts.

I did not. I make it a habit to not drop my guns. I have an Apex trigger around here somewhere, but after the move I’d be better off buying a new one

Don't have any experience with the 320, but if you're just looking for another 40 to add and you already have 2 23's I got an email yesterday from recoil gunworks they have Gen4 G22's with night Sights in very good condition police trade ins for $319. Damn good deal.
