I dont know what it is but I do love guns. I love the history of them I love reading about them I love learning about them I love shooting them and I absolutely positively 100% love the feel and looks of quality firearms in my hands.
I visit a few gun forums each day and I also just flip through the classifieds at least once or twice a week just to look at guns and their prices.
I was just talking to one of my buddies today and we were talking about our most prized and loved material possessions. #1 was my sako 85 #2 was my HK45C and #3 was my AR. Then came my golf clubs boat, car etc.
Hands down 1, 2 and 3! Nothing else comes close except my golf clubs and everything I own is for sale or who cares really. My prized possessions are my guns hands down!!
Am I crazy or are there others out there like me??
Let's go DOGE!!!!!

I loved them a lot the previous 8 years because Barry the Kenyan didn’t want me to. Sako 85 is my #1 too. You’ve got good taste.

I love them, too. I often see guns I think I can’t live without. Then I realize I have no use for that particular gun, but I still feel the same about it.

I have half the guns in that video. Now I want the other half and a roll of packing tape to accessorize my double barrel.

I love them too. Pretty sure everybody on here does. We could all get by fine with a .22, a deer rifle, a shotgun and a pistol.
Betting almost all of us have more than that.
I learned long ago you can't reason someone out of something they don't reason themselves into.

Betting almost all of us have more than that. Seeing your recent acquisition is a motivator to sell almost everything and buy "the one." I keep talking about going back to just one or two, just have not gotten there quite yet, but I am starting to thin the ranks. The hard part is now everything left is a very good shooter, something special, or was my dad or grandad's and those are not going anywhere. To the OP's questions, I do not own many, but the ones that I do own I enjoy the workmanship, the thought that went into the design, and/or how well it puts the bullet in the bullseye. Some are a joy to hold and use, and many that were neither have moved on down the road.
