Looking for a nice place to go on a group ram hunt. Would be a group of 5-7 hunters. Dates not set yet but leaning toward August or September. Would want at least a full curl ram. Feel free to pm with any info. Thanks.

I would give Trey Kuenstler (ram hunter 1964) a shout. He specializes in rams and group hunts. I’m planning my third hunt with him for this spring and have many more in the foreseeable future.

he is on Facebook. Keunstler rams and exotics. I have been talking to him about our group hunt. He is as professional as they come so far. He don’t mind answering all of a persons questions. I haven’t hunted with him yet. Will be before long though.

Trey was my first experience with a Texas guided hunt and my expectations were beyond exceeded. His ranch itself is beautiful and full of both native and exotic wildlife. The lodging was very clean, well-stocked, and comfortable beyond the price you pay. However, the thing I was most impressed with was Trey himself. He is incredibly friendly and hospitable, going above and beyond to make our experience memorable. We quickly became friends within the first hour of arriving at the ranch. That’s why Trey won my friends and me over as returning customers; a genuine interest in the happiness of his clients.

I always like to save my reviews or recommendations for someone till after a hunt. I will say this though. A lot of outfitters could learn a lot from him. From the first time I contacted him till last night when I booked. He treated me like I have all ready hunted with him 10 times. I can't wait till the time arrives to hunt with him. I know for anyone looking to book a hunt. I can't give the actual hunting experience yet. I can recommend him far as how he conducts his business. Far as from the hunter looking to book but is very picky as to who they hunt with. The only hunt I have been burned on was actually a ram hunt. The outfitter wasn't in Texas. So I guess I have been really thorough with this ram hunt. I have no doubt. Its gonna be a blast.

I saved his info off here the first time I seen him post. He was the first I contacted. Being this is my first hunt in Texas and hunting for rams which is the only hunt I ever been burned on. I have talked with probably 20 or so outfitters. There was 5 I felt comfortable with booking with. No one came close to Trey though. At least not in giving me the info I wanted and answering questions without hesitation. Thanks for the recommendation. I booked for September. If the hunt is anything like the booking experience with him. Its gonna be awesome. I have no doubt it will be as good if not better. I'm like you. If things go the way I think they will. I will be booking many more to come.
