Has anyone done any duck hunting on lake Conroe? Looking for any suggestions on where to go or if its even worth going?

Never heard of it until now. Could be good, but too far for me to travel there. Now that I know about it...Maybe next year!

I was planning on hunting it till my buddy told me to watch out up there. He hunted that area for deer last year and said there are meth heads roaming around. Weve have good success two hours south on the coast all year. Id head there.

Im not sure if there still is, but there was a homeless camp behind the Academy on 105. I know thats not super close to the lake, but id just watch out.
