If i am not mistaken you can get fhe ctr in 6.5 with a 24 inch barrel. I have a ctr in 308. I love it. "Ugly plastic stock" and all.

I've got a CTR 260 that is extremely accurate. I bought it when I was just getting into long range shooting . I like the rifle my only complaint is it's a right hand action only and I'm a lefty. I kept the rifle for my wife and nephew to shoot. I've never had a problem with the mag release however it will drop the mag without any effort once pressed which is what it was designed to do for fast mag changes . With Tikka coming out with a 6.5 with a 24" barrel for a right hand shooter wanting costum rifle accuracy in a factory rifle you can't go wrong. You don't even have to be a reloader either just pick up some Hornady Precision Hunter ammo loaded with the 143 ELD-X and your ready for the range or any animal you decide to go after.
