Nice buck and a great write-up. I'm envious, I've never hunted mule deer...yet. You should change that “yet”. Different style and different adventure. I still love whitetail but mule deer hunting is a great change of pace. Great story...great buck...mediocre shooting...HORRIBLE driving
Happy for you on a fine buck! The deer is dead and the truck was still driveable....and not on fire

Good job "shooting until he's down for good." May take some ribbing, but much better than a story that ends with a Muley never recovered.
