Anyone having a coon problem at their All Seasons protein feeders? Says on their website that they are rain and varmint proof.

We’ve got 2 of the All Seasons, they do stay dry for the most part (a little gummy at the bottom lip after a good blow). Pics show coons cleaning up the dropped stuff but not climbing on them like the old barrels with drop tubes.

All I see on their website is spinning corn feeders. I'm asking about free choice protein feeders that are coon proof.

contact Tim at the link above and he should be able to help you. They show a picture of a timed ~700# protein feeder on their Facebook page ... GreenGo Facebook

That timed one will definitely not be Coon proof. Thanks anyway, looks like if I have a problem it'll be an All Seasons I guess.

just curious, how would you coon proof a protein feeder ... out of my own ignorance, never dealt with protein ... most seem to have a spout around chin high for a deer.

I asked the question on their Facebook page about making a coon proof protein feeder ... their response GreenGo Feeders I can add a plate over the spout so they can't sit on them GreenGo FB page on protein feeders also shows a partial picture of one of their gravity feeder protein feeders.

The more Coon proof ones are feeders that the coon can't sit on the spout. The All Seasons have an angled spout and this is probably the direction I'll go. Was just wondering if anyone had any experience with another brand that worked well.

Texas Hunter Products has their 1200 lb. on sale for 999.00 A lot of feeder for the money. I like the design. None will be coon proof, but chain some dukes traps around the feeder frame at the bottom and you can get rid of the coon problem quickly since you live there.

You said best. That would be Outback Feeders but they're pricey. As for being "somewhat coon proof", you'll have to call them and ask.

I went with the All Seasons Timed 2k pro evo last year. Not one picture of a coon sitting on the spouts, don't think the angle will allow them to stay on there very well.
I've been very happy with the unit, no clogging what so ever.

I have had no problems with coons on my boss buck 1200# feeder. I have had squirrels damage two of the four feed tubes by gnawing on the top of the spout. I repaired them with wire reinforced bondo and the squirrels don't seem to like chewing on that as much. I also quit adding corn to the protein and the squirrels quit using the feeder.

I was running a Raccoon Deli with my Boss Buck, very much not coon proof for me. The hood thing looks interesting, though the video shows them in a HF environment, wonder if it would work the same in a LF?
