Have a group from Houston coming for a 3 day hunt, and 2 from Ft. Worth. It is worth the drive, heck I am in Aransas Pass and not a lot closer than you are. Be a quick flight to Midland/Odessa and drive down.

What’s included in the hunt for $300 per day? Meals, lodging, guide with dogs?

Hunt only, no lodging or meals, hunt out of truck, no dogs, too dry by 9-10 for them to track. Have contacts with houses that start at 129/night or there are 2-3 hotel/motels to stay in.

Blues in this country is really hard on dogs. Beside paws, it so dry they can't track them after a hour or 2 after day light. This is beautiful but rugged country, come join us on this and you will understand why.

Price is steep Without dogs Man’s offering wild quail in a year when somewhere north of 75% of quail reports are waaaay worse than last year. I think if you can find pockets of quail country in a year like this with huntable quail numbers you might consider digging just a tad deeper in the old pocket. Or not.

Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill
