There’s about a thousand options. Pick any rifle and caliber you want. Many come threaded and if they don’t then you can have the barrel threaded.

Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

My favorite is a Tikka t3 lite cut down to 18" and threaded to 9/16" for a Yankee Hill QD adapter.

Have you seen this done? The only reason why I ask is because I know a couple of guys that wanted to do this but the gunsmith said the barrel didn’t have enough material.

Yes they are factory threaded. Most suppressors won't fit the factory thread on the 6.5 though. SAS made me a custom brake to fit it. So yea 5/8-24 typical suppressor thread not enough meat. Just gotta work around it.

It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

The new Barrett Fieldcraft comes threaded. We have been shooting the 6.5 suppressed one.

This. My son just bought a gen 2 and it was pretty impressive while sighting it in.

Kimber offers a factory 5/8x24 thread adapter for the Adirondack and the Subalpine rifles, no need for custom work. The rifles are super lightweight.
