Great Write up! Some of you guys really know how to show the full detail of the hunt, I'm not one of em grin
Way more words than I would have used, but I enjoy reading about others experiences. Congrats on the deer and I'm sure you're excited to see what next year may hold in store for you.

That’s a good looking deer. I like how his beams shoot straight out then hook forward.

Congrats on a great buck. Glad you had enough bullets with ya.

Don't miss, well 5 hits of 8 shots what were the other 3? peep

Just kidding, when they don't go down keep pumping lead in them until they do

Congrats! This scenario really proves the benefit of shot placement, that even with what looks like a good shot, you need to punch vitals! up up coolpics

That's crazy he ran after that first shot

Those animals out there are just tougher than their tamer country counterparts

Or the second, or third, or fourth rofl

He was eating up them bullets like candy bang

I am a big fan of the high shoulder shot and shot my last one there, dropped him like a rock. Longer distance and off a makeshift stick, figured I would go for vitals.

I would have done the same thing on shot placement. Out there precision is more of an approximation

Congrats, awesome hunt and it has everything a good hunting story needs. Minus a tracking dog.
