never spooked a single animal...ive shined deer, hogs, coons, rabbits, a bobcat, and not a single animal has shown a bit of concern. I have shined hogs from 40-50yds and stalked up to within 15 and even had them comin head on to my feeder at 20 yds and shined them right in the eyes, not a care in the world!
the red light is perfect and NOT too bright. I love it and HIGHLY recommend it!

comparison in brightness minisniper= 180 lumens stabalight= 145 lumens
I can vouch personally for the ease and convenience of the battery and charging set up for minisniper. It has a charging deck and I have two batteries so one is ALWAYS full! Plug it in the wall, pop the batteries in and wait, they slip into the rear of the light and last for HOURS!!!
Dont know anything about stabalight except brightness... I bet ArcheryAffliction can tell ya something!

I looked. I like the looks of the switch on the other one. But other than that I like the hawg light. The flood vs. the spot. I will order the hawglight. Thanx for the help.

hawglight comes with 2 switches, 1 pressure switch for easy on/off option; and one button swith so you can turn it on and move your finger away. They change out VERY easily, its literally just plugging it into the small cord from the light.

It's ordered and hopefully here soon. Need to get it early to practice with it some before I go on the THF hog hunt. If I had it this week end I'd try it now.

Wow, were does a guy start. First I was going to buy a Stabalite but then I saw the Mini-Sniper and now I see there is another called Hawglite. Can anyone help me out on wich one can you see the furthest with the red light. From what I can tell the Mini-Sniper looks like it has the brightest red light but the other two realy don't show any pictures so it's hard to tell. The stabalite says you can see 120 yards but they don't say if thats with the red lens or not. Help

I am sure the Mini-sniper is a quality product. The only downfall I can see is you are limited to only a red light. The Stabalight has a white, red, green and blue filter. I tried to make the Stabalight fit several hunting situations. The hog hunters love the red and green filters and the bowfisherman like the white light. You can't go wrong either way.

Got my light yesterday and was able to shoot as accurately at thirty yards last night as I could in the daylight. This should work out well, especially if I actually can stay awake past 10 pm.

Yeah. It is plent bright. One issue with it and I tried to email the company but got the email back. I was able to resolve the issue and the solution was pretty simple. When I would shoot there was a noise issue. I shimmed the battery with some paper to make it tighter in the light and that quieted it considerably.

I hope to try it this week end. I have a place I can go if my friend can get free. It's tricky with Sunday being mothers day. I keep telling my wife she's not my mother.

This statement is not entirely true.
Since I last posted I have ordered The Mini-Sniper combo package that came with the Red Mini-Sniper and a great Tracking flashlight. Both lights are completely interchangeable so if I want to use the white Tracking light on my bow all I have to do is take the tail cap off the Red mini-Sniper and put it on white tracking light and I have a great light for bow fishing or just shootin targets at night. I have seen the all three lights side by side now and the mini-sniper red and white lights are way brighter than the Stabalight and the Hawglite Marauder. 270 lumens of white light and 180 lumens of red light. Yes the Mini-Sniper combo package is more expensive then the other two but you get two complete lights, 4 batteries(the lights only use one battery at a time) and charger so no more buying batteries or taking off your bow light to track with.
Wow, I just read what I wrote and I should get paid by the Mini-Sniper for the advertisement.
Thanks AdgerC15 for the help.

I thought the mini-sniper was by hawglight? Well I got the mini-sniper and it seems good so far on targets.
