Instead of buying an expensive caller, does anyone use their phone and a portable speaker to call in varmits/coyotes?

This system works well and does what you are asking about very well ....... depends on what you consider expensive. https://convergenthunting.com As much as I hunt coyotes I wouldn’t consider NOT having at least two of everything I use to hunt predators and ecaller’s are no different. Get the best and have a backup. I use Foxpro’s.

I’m pretty much a beginner at this and bought the fox pro motion decoy that has three calls on it. Rabbit, baby woodpecker and mole. I wish that i had bought one now that i could control with my phone with multiple calls.

My grandpa called in a bobcat from his phone without another speaker. Just from his Phone speaker

It’s a good idea to put your phone in airplane mode if you’re using this setup. Nothing blows a hunt like your phone ringing through a speaker.
