I have the chance to get on a lease south of Sweetwater that is under TPWD MLD, I was wondering how the whitetail hunting is out that way.
Thanks

Lots of deer. Trophies probably around the 110-120 range but could be higher depending on property and management, protein, etc.

We hunt south of Colorado City which is about 30 minutes further west of Sweet Water. Lots of deer but you have to have a group of guys willing to practice restraint to see any payoff. We are year 5 on our lease and this year has been amazing but it started 5 years ago with letting certain deer walk and culling others.
