Hey y'all. I shot a 1-4x optic today at 50yd. It was great, shooting cheap ammo out with a cheap scope.

Now my question is, how will 1-4x optics work out to 300yd? Possible hunting out to 100yd. Not looking to shoot hole-in-hole (which is fun and dandy) but I feel that's more a function of shooter and rifle.

I'm really interested in getting the Primary Arms ACSS 1-6x.

I'd say the answer to the 300-yard question depends on your skill and the size of the target. Lotsa hunters have used fixed 6x scopes for big game hunting with complete satisfaction, though.
