I tried to get onto a lease this year, but there aren�t many solo options out there, Got out on my first big duck season hunt of my first year waterfowling solo!! I pulled into my first spot, trucks were there, so I went to spot 2 and there were trucks there, so I went to plan c ... went to the walk in with a north facing shoreline and my decoys blew back into the shore with the stout wind. I picked up at about 7:30 and went to make a mad dash to try and find me a sheltered spot.  Here is the main lake wave action

I actually have some, but I wasn�t expecting to hunt the shoreline because that wind is in your face
