Have you ever sat in the stand and said, "I'm gonna hit this grunt call a couple of times and see if anything comes in. The buck is going to come from over here, look around, and then hit this scrape. That would be the perfect time to drop him while he is preoccupied". It couldn't have played out better in my dreams. Very nice, mature typical 12. Scored 145. Way out in West Texas, because there are no big deer in East Texas.

Congrats on a real bruiser! I'd ask if you were happy but you got cheese all over your face.  San Augustine has been growing some big bucks the last 8 or so years.

Nah for some reason the camera doesn't pick up camo in the dark. I guess it's something to do with the infrared. I have the same pants on that in the third picture at the house.
