I decided to give the Rage Hypodermics a try this year. I've always had good results with my Grim Reapers but just wanted to try something different after seeing some nasty holes they make. Got a quartering away shot that buried in the opposite shoulder. Somehow that 2" broadhead made about a 4" entry hole. Blood trail a blind man could follow.

Those tips that stretch the hide while penetrating open up a hole bigger than the cut diameter. Congrats on the deer and yea it made a mess

Yeah I am a Rage Fan too. This is the Rage Extreme Chisel Tip. Looked like a water hose squirting out after the shot!

I'm done. I got some to load earlier and now it won't. Just imagine a 120" 8 point with a 6" gash on the left bottom side of his belly.

I’ve been using them a little while. I like’em. I also like the chisel tip. They’re both nasty!

After double lunging my biggest bow kill to date in KS and not having blood for 200 yards, I'm changing from fixed to expandable.

That's a rage trypan at 277 fps and 446 grains.
Probably gonna let another fly before the sun sets. That ram was this morning

Left 2 came out of the Auodad Head on the right came out of a big hog from this morning... Punched through the shoulder blade. All of the blades are slightly bent, the ferule point on the left head is slightly bent, but I'm guessing titanium is easy to sharpen

Well after seeing what they did to my deer I told a guest of mine to pick up some Rage 2.3 extremes for the cross bow and took him on his first successful archery hunt. Tracking jobs sure look nothing like the old fixed heads I was using.

That 2.3 wound is impressive. Got a pic of the head after recovery? Im very impressed with how durable these things are This was the coup de grace on the aoudad. (Middle broadhead from 2 posts above). It broke the sternum and made it about 10 more inches. Shot was 32 yards First shot dropped him, but he was still trying to get up so I put another in him

I didn't take a pic of the head but it had little to no damage. We touched up the blades a little on a tristone and he shot this pig with it. It was a little to dark to shoot but he still managed a 200 pound sow.

I just ordered more. I don't have a problem shooting these at my lease. The ground has a little dirt. When a head goes through an animal the rocks most often ruin it. The heads are effective killers, although I sharpen all of them before use, but it doesn't hurt near as much ruining a $2 head vs a $13 one.

I shot my three heads and just did ok with them. I didn't get holes like the pictures. But I shot all big animals. Nor did I get decent blood trails. I like Muzzy trocar expandables better. I think they do more damage and penetrate much better. I only post this incase anyone using them is looking for something better.

I saw this the other day on FB, with the caption “it’s amazing what a deer can survive”.

Despite that huge hole (which was almost as big on the way out), there was almost no blood on the ground. She only went 40 yards and i saw her fall. This was the 6th trypan I've put in an animal and every head except one I plan on re-using.
