This guy showed up outside our office window this afternoon in Houston. He looked to me like a Swainson's Hawk but I wasn't sure because everything I've read on Swanson's say they migrate to South America this time of year (never knew hawks migrated). This is the first up close and personal look we've had at him but every evening we get to watch him hunt the bats that leave the waugh bridge which crosses over Buffalo Bayou!

Now how cool is that up My first thought was a young male Red Tail and that is just a wild giess.
