Unless you've got a mile to shoot. Seriously... On another note had a sales person at Cabelas tell me the 6.5 Creedmoor has "terminal performance issues." It was at that point I pulled out my cell phone showing him 40 hogs I've dropped over the past years using 6 different bullets. Everyone of them efficiently dropping Texas boars from 25-315 lbs. I wasn't trying to be a jerk, just informative in hopes he stops the myth of "poor terminal issues."

I like all the former snipers that work at the Academy gun counters....Their stories and the great information that they so willingly pass on have, just so much values. I am pretty sure it is a prerequisite to being hired at Academy!!!!!

Was that you in the video? I have some footage of me and a buddy at 1800 shooting. I was shooting a 7 saum and he was shooting a 7 mag. He decided to see how his GA precision 6.5 would do. After round 17 he was on the plate. With 140 hybrids.

Ok.. I have a place to shoot a mile now. So I went ahead and bought a 6.5 creedmoor!

Cabelas gun counter employees are shady at best. They need a training class or two for sure.

I had a Cabela's Outfitter try to tell me that Leupold Customer Service is garbage. I have have received exceptional service from them. Even when it was my fault. After a little prodding, I discovered that he had never tried to send a Leupold back and had never owned one.
I asked him why there were so many of his favorite scopes in the bargain cave labeled as Refurbished...he got red faced and decided he was done helping me.
I wish stupidity was not so handsomly rewarded.
