What does a pressure washer run? Are there small inexpensive ones that do the trick?

I go to car wash and it softens tissue up with their limited pressure where knife works pretty good. I end up using the boil method for what car wash doesn't do. Trivial fact when using carwash make sure somebody doesn't pull up behind you in high end car wanting to wash dust off as you shove nozzle in back of skull to remove brain matter! The drivers seem to get unhappy for some reason.

I've tried a few methods, but the easiest way (if you're not in a hurry) is to just bury the head and cover with a large barrel or recycle container.
I bury mine for about 6 months, dig it up, brush it off with a wire brush and water, let it sit in the sun for about a week, then spray paint with any primer/paint in 1.
I've also used spray clear coat on top of the paint and that works great as well. Chrome spray paint looks pretty cool on them if you get tired of plain white.

Soak the head and then bury it in a worm bin for three weeks. Then take it out and simmer it for 20 minutes and then rinse with a hose.

Slow boil for two hours in water and about 1/3 of a box of 20 mule team borax. Clean it up good with a pressure washer and I'm done.

I do the bury it method as well cuz im lazy like that. Skin the head first, leaving skin on seems to stain the bone for some reason. I dig up after 5 months. Brush and wash it off, then put it in a bucket or cooler with water and dish detergent and let it soak for one to two weeks. This draws out any remaining fats on the bone so it wont yellow with age. Thats it, no need to paint or bleach.

Three weeks in an active worm bed really does a job on the organics, I have even left the hide on a hogs head and had an easy cleanup. Another easy method is to put the head in a pond that has a good population of crawdads.

I use the an accelerated natural process. It takes about 3 weeks. There is no need to flesh, boil or power wash and the meat and tissue disappears leaving every minute bone structure intact. Living on a salt water canal on the gulf I submerge my heads in the canal hair and all. I do no fleshing. The crabs and minnows thoroughly clean all flesh off in about 3 weeks. The skulls are pure white and ready to mount after the cycle. I have attached one of last years mounts.

My hunting partner put one in a fire ant mound and covered it with a bucket.
