Looks like next Tuesday a good one will blow through knocking the highs down to LOW 70's! Who's gonna be in the woods?? And if you had only 1 day to hunt, would you be there Tuesday evening or Wed evening? Beings that I'm married and are remodeling our new house, I'll have to pick one day

Depends on when exactly the front hits.
I avoid Dick's and hope they fold.

The best day to hunt would be about a day after, once the wind dies down.
A cool clear morning where you need long sleeves and shiver just a little as the sun comes up, and seeing your breath.....That's what gets me in the right state of mind as well as the deer.

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

Agreed. I'm heading out there Monday afternoon to relocate my hang-on, then taking the wife with me Wednesday to hunt the feeder and ground blind. Between wed evening and Thurs morning, should be lot's of deer taken!

Lol, I wish. Not sure where you guys are seeing this but all next week I show the temps in the low to mid 80's! Of course I'm down near Houston too so there's that.

We had 44 in SE Oklahoma Wednesday morning but will be back in the upper 80's this weekend.

Heard that LOL.... Them jokers were up and moving yesterday morning. I heard from 3 different people that almost hit big bucks with their trucks and I had 11 deer at my new stand at 7:40 am, but I was at work  These October fronts are hard to beat!
