If you have a caliper, measure the objective bell and then consult the Butler Creek chart. Or you may find the dimensions of the objective bell on Nikon's website, you could use that as well.

49.3 for my bell.
I'm finding sizes 48.7 and 49.8 on the web site.
Do I get a little bigger or smaller or am I outta luck?

They'll stretch just a bit, so I'd get the 48.7" cap. That way it won't slip off too easily.

What do you dislike about the BC covers, JG?
