I got my 10/22 "carbine" w/18" bbl in coyote (tan). Now I need a cheap scope. I absolutely will not be upgrading anything on this gun. I was set on the BSA Sweet .22 but have read about the Simmons being a best bang for your buck (<$75). Any input on BSA vs. Simmons or another cheap scope (~$50)? Thanks!

I've heard the BSA rim fire scopes are decent. I would ask the kind folks over on rimfire central forum if it was me. Those guys know what they're talking about.

Are they as accurate as the regular carbine models? And I have one I will sell for a good price. Never shoot and it's the stainless model
Not sure if I'd call you a machine, but you are definitely a tool.

I recommend the heavy barrel with a volkerson trigger kit. I like the extra weight because I can hold more steady free hand shooting. Highly recommend the boyds thumbhole stock.

You can buy a wood stock one from grab a gun for 200. Then send trigger off to brimstone for a tier 3 trigger job (40) then order a Whistling Pig Barrel in the bull version for 150 and boom a nice 10/22 for around 400. Then you can get a new stock for around 100 and then the black hole opens up. Lol
Not sure if I'd call you a machine, but you are definitely a tool.
