My wife is wanting to buy a complete new set of hunting clothing including boots. What does your wife prefer? Warmest and lightest is my wife's preference. Thanks Daniel

Hi my wife started as a non hunter but now she's killed bigfger deer than me... once she started we bought her some SHE safari clothing.. think they may have been bought by another company... for her we look for quality and fit next would be for warmth... I know she has more fun with me hunting when she is comfortable.. I can take the cold but we have to think of the ladies if they are with us...

We will be in Montana and it might be bad cold so warmth and weight are primary concerns. Weather will determine if we are walking the mountains or sitting on the edge of agriculture fields.

Well if her warmth is a concern then layer up so she can add or take away accordingly.

Sitka just came out with a women's line and it a very complete line. Boot wise hanwag, crispi, zamberlan etc all carry women sizes

My wife has the Under Armour pants, coat and boots. She wore the stuff to Colorado last year and was toasty warm. She is always cold and she never complained about being cold while she was wearing her hunting clothes on the mountain. Here is a list of the stuff that she wears. Under Armour Ayton Fleece Pants Under Armour Ayton Fleece Lined Coat Under Armour Droptine 800 Gram Thinsulate Boots
The only thing that I would change for her is to have gotten the coat with a hood on it. The pants an coat are part of the cold gear line. If you go this route, just make sure that you get it large enough that she can layer underneath the outer garments. She will stay warm in this stuff. BASSHAWK

Tell her this is what all the women are wearing to hunt this year. We'll all swear to it.

My Wife likes the ladies camo from Cabela's. She's got the lightweight gear all the way up to the really cold weather stuff. Lifetime warranty is sound too. Good Base layers are the most important part.
