Subject: Temporary Restraining Order with injunction hearing set for September 12, 2017
Mesquite, Texas, August 30,2017 - A TRO (Temporary Restraining Order) has been filed and petitioned to the 422nd Judicial District Court of Kaufman County. The presiding Judge granted the TRO on August 30th, 2017. Therefore LoneStar Gun Club is ordered & required to cease all firearm shooting activities by court order till the hearing on Sept 12th, 2017.
This TRO was granted with no evidence of damage, bodily harm or any violations. We have kept in compliance with all Government agencies. We are making every effort to resume business and honor your memberships. LoneStar Gun Club does feel like this a attack on our 2nd Amendment Rights and that of every member.
This is unfortunate to our members at this time and we apologize. We are asking any members that have any questions to please contact us. Your support is welcome and we need your support to rally around these circumstances. We value our members input and suggestions on how to move forward and overcome this challenge. If you feel like that you could give us input or advice, the legal documents are open to your review. Also want to say thanks to our members that are already contributing finically to help fight this battle. We need your help to fight this!

Please do your research. This has nothing to do with 2nd Amendment Rights and everything to do with the safety at this range. This is in Kaufman county Texas, there's most likely not 200 people in Kaufman county that don't own guns.

The whole story is range design or lack of range design they only have 39 acres. Ever shooting bay on the property is down range from 600 yard firing line. Look on their web site at the layout. No government agency will do anything until there is an accident so surrounding property owners are taking him to court before they are the one in the story like you posted. Range is saying 2nd Amendment Rights just to raise money, 2nd Amendment has nothing to do with endangering your neighbors lives and property. Range should have started a fund raiser to design the range with safety in mind when they started. Sad thing is his members should be the ones telling him to improve the safety of the range, its all fun and games until there is an accident then the liability begins.

Don't see this as a 2ndA issue. Website says in Dallas County and hearing in Kaufman County/.

Sorry for Lone Star members and for gun ranges getting bad press.

Unfortunate time of year when so many want to zero for hunt season.

MEANWHILE We are open for business and we go to 700 yards. We are by appointment only, book only one shooter or group at a time and you feel like you own the range. Nice pistol area and pasture clay shooting for bird season.

Also Bird Dog training and guided and unguided quail hunts. We got quail and homing pigeons.

The gun club is actually in both Dallas and Kaufman counties. I am guessing since the rounds are all heading toward Kaufman County jurisdiction(?) fell to the 422nd.
