What a nice ram! Congratulations Clay! Thanks for the pictures. Man does that make the memories come flooding back! I remember being on that dock,flying in that very same plane, loading up the horses, all of it. I knew you'd get your ram, and am super happy for you!

Lol that's a great question. They were good for sure, but the boys were super stoked about them and enjoying being there toasting the hunt so much it was more fun watching them. It's their little celebration tradition. Tell you the truth, I was just wanting to get to bed.

I enjoyed the backstrap and loins we had later much more.

Thanks Bud. Do you know what kind of float planes those were?

They had all kinds available. Starting small to large: Piper Cub, Cessna 172, Cessna 210, DeHavilland Beaver, and DeHavilland Otter.

Both my flights were on the Cessna 210. Tim (outfitter) came and checked on us, picked up the ram cape/horns, and brought stuff in his Piper Cub float plane. Graham says he has at least 2 more planes (another Cub with wheel landing gear and a Cessna 172 float plane). He may have more. They are the cars of the backcountry up north.

Back in 2006 I flew in an Otter - more hunters and longer distance travelled.

Pops loves those birds. I sent him your pics and he was curious.
