Maybe 3 don't think he much older neck ties in high still has tight belly hard to tell from the one picture

If I've learned anything from these threads over the years I'd say that deer is between 1.5 and 7.5

He's 4 or older. That's a 2 year old next to him and deer don't put on that kind of weight in 1 year.
You can't tell anything from that angle other than weight difference.

Been pretty good conditions the last couple years...I could see that as a yearling and a 3.5, but really was thinking 4.5. What I would call a middle aged LF deer and one that would get a good look at my lease. On my ranch that guy would likely get another year, or two.

If it's a place I was trying to manage long term I would shoot him his g-1 are very weak compared to his 2 and 3 would not want him passing that on. If I was not able to or trying to manage long term let him go another year or so
