Cheaper Than Dirt was at the Denton gun show and had 380 ammo! To bad the price was $50 a box for 50 rounds of S&B fmj. I asked the guy if that was with or with out KY. He looked confused maybe he got it by now.

The only thing that sucks worse than S&B ammo is Cheaper Than Dirt. I'd love to see a big ol sinkhole open up below that place and send it straight to the bowels of the Earth where it belongs.

Yet another reason why I could care less if they went out of business. They've already proved themselves MANY, MANY times that they are out to screw anybody they can.

a little off-topic but as much as I'm disgusted with CTD's ammo prices, I ordered .40 S&W dies from them today...they had them in stock when everyone else says they're backordered at least 15 days out. Comparable price as well.

That's why I always tell people that boycotts won't work. Not knocking you for ordering from them. Just saying that in order for a boycott to work, people have to be dedicated enough to wait that 15 days to get it from somebody else. They're probably LTAO when they read posts like this and business stays good.

Like I said, I'm not knocking you. It's the same with the auto industry. How many of you drive foreign made cars and complain about the loss of American jobs? Barbed wire is a perfect example too. Landowners sit around the coffee shop and talk about the downfall of this Country and then go to Tractor Supply and buy barbed wire made in China.

Change is great as long as it doesn't inconvenience us or cost us any money. Without dedication and commitment, it's all just words in the wind.

I don't have a problem with people buying from other than paying the REDICULOUS prices for some of their stuff.

When gas was so crazy in cost, we had emails going everywhere about boycotting and not buying on certain days, avoiding certain stations, etc........why have we had none of those types about ammo????

Maybe because it didn't make any difference then. 7-11 gets their gasoline from Hugo Chavez. You still see people buying gas there. Most people are long on talk and short on action. Heaven forbid we are inconvenienced for a cause.

I will never set foot in another 7-11 as long as I live. Likewise for CTD. But one or two people don't make a difference to anyone except themselves. So, I don't advocate a boycott as a means to bring about change; more a means to have that inner feeling that you are doing something you believe in.

Well, I was a little fed up... ...I had ordered the dies from Midway USA back at the beginning of March and as of yesterday the new "expected date" was 5/11/09. Ebay was an option until I saw that Lee carbide sets are bringing 60-70 bucks minimum and I REFUSE to get screwed by paying that for a $25 item. Went to CTD on a whim and the rest is history.

Again, no judgement or blame from me. I ordered some Ultramax 223 ammo from Sportsman's Guide. At the time of order, it showed to be back ordered 2 weeks. The next day I went to my 'basket' and saw that the ammo was now back ordered till October instead of April 20th. Even though that's what they said, I still received shipment of my ammo on April 10th. About 2 weeks sooner than they had originally thought. That's the kind of service that makes me shop at their place. Plus, the ammo was cheaper than anywhere else I had seen.

CTD sucks. Ive had two experiences with them in the past. Seeing them price 380 blazer aluminum at $60 per 50 was just the icing on the cake for me.
