Still going, his kids still hunt a lot and they every show up here now and then

He bought some huge ranch in south texas, always enjoyed his tv shows he was always serious and never acted like an idiot as most do on outdoor shows today. Always wondered why he quite doing them?

Owns a 3500 acre High fence place near me in Anderson County. Several other hunting ranch's but think he spends lots of time in Tanzania on a huge hunting operation he bought there.

He had one of the best shows I always thought - professional - he was one of the first to really video every hunt he went on - has an unbelievable library of video. I imagine he got tired of messy with a tv show

Lol, we used to "visit" his lake on that ranch back in the day. I grew up in east Texas. We called em "running leases" cause you ran your butt off when you got caught fishing. We caught some big ole bass, always threw them back though. Statute of limitations is up, only reason I mention it as it's funny now. I don't recommend it for the young ones nowadays.
How come everybody I meet is a deer hunting expert?

If I catch young kids fishing without permission on my pond? I am not happy and will give a little sermon to them about asking for permission. I then would tell them you can come fish anytime you want but ask first.
If it is adults?? Different story

How many of you remember seeing several pictures in the Texas Trophy Hunters magazine 35-40 years ago of a little kid, Juanito Brittingham, always a big buck and a beautiful black lab

Me. With all the lawsuits among heirs, siblings, cousins, ex-wife, etc., it's surprising Jack has held onto all that wealth his father and uncle built into Dal Tile.
