 Axis hunt success yesterday with a lucky hunter from a hunt we donated. Every year we donate a hunt to a local cause - Silent Santa in Gonzales, TX. The group takes Christmas presents to children of families of our community, which includes clothes they may need. The local law enforcement, EMS, and FD are part of it I think. It's kinda cool to see Santa pulling up on a fire truck with a police escort and the families kids taken care of with the surprise. My wife is a part of it as well and helps pick out the clothes for the kids. I have helped her a few times in the past and think I will continue donating and helping. We donated this hunt to the raffle that the group uses to get the items for the kids. One luck winner won our hunt and came out yesterday for a trophy axis hunt. He went home with a cooler of meat and a heck of 31" axis.
