Son turned 4 a couple of weeks back and the folks wanted to make a trip to the ranch. My brother met us
Down there. We got both water tanks set up and connected a lot of hard line. Good pressure and just in time for these hot months coming. Even saw a pink coach whip I thought was a piece of old red water hose until the hose started moving.

Tried my bird whispering skills

Neat looking snake. Never seen one in that color phase.

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

I was told later this was a rock pigeon. It was young and never left our camp the whole weekend. The first night we where putting fuel in the generator. I had my elbow a half a foot away from this thing perched on the lean to. Actually startled me, after I picked it up I thought crap this thing has bird flu with my luck. It was just a young bird who didn't want to fly at night. Pretty cool though.

Lonesome Dove would be a good name for the cabin it likes to hang out at though.
