Does anyone know a dependable, trustworthy outfitter for black bear? We have 5 guys who would like to harvest a big ole black/cinnamon bear. Open to any state where we can all be successful and enjoy the place. Thanks in advance!!!

I know a couple good outfitters in Idaho. Depends on what you are looking for. Idaho isnt known for huge bears but has a ton of color phase bears.

We are headed to Idaho in June, there percentage is higher for a cinnamon, but I can't really recommend the outfitter yet this is our first time using him. I can only hope of course.

Would you consider Canada? That opens up a bunch of outfitters.

Bobby Tainter, he has some of the best dogs around and is in NM, not sure if he does spot and stalk, i hunted with them last year with 3 other guys and everyone had a bear on the 1st day.

fall/spring? bait? spot/stalk? dogs? What type hunt you looking for?

Thanks for the response guys!!! Sorry I was not more specific. I think we would like a bait hunt, and any location is acceptable as long as they have 200+ lb. bears. I am not sure yet on dates, simply because I do not know where we are going yet and what time of year is best to hunt bears.
