You definitely want one near the corner of the pasture on the east side of the property, given your photo is shown with north at the top. The corners of pastures make natural pinch points where deer corner around them to stay in the relative safety of cover, rather than heading out straight across an open pasture. Put the stand back in the woods far enough that you can watch deer move around the corner between you and the pasture. No need for a feeder here as it could easily spook mature bucks who pass around the corner throughout the year.

The southern tip of the wooded area in the middle is another good spot because it offers the shortest exposed travel route to the wooded area to the south. In fact, it would also make a good location for a feeder positioned back in the woods a bit.

Also, the eastern end of the south fence should be a deer highway if there is any cover along it, such as brush and small trees along the fence.

Do they bed in that tree line? Or even better is that a creek?

How many acres is it, how many hunters? Do you have access from both the north and the southern boundaries? If access is only from the north and if it is just you.

I would only have one stand on that high ridge going into the field, probably an elevated blind to give you the best view of both sides of the field.
If one stand does not give you a good view of both sides, put two stands (box blinds?) on each side of that ridge where you can easily sneak from one blind to the other if the deer are not on a certain side.

Yellow line is how about how far I would probably drive atv/truck to before getting out and walking to the blind . Green line is the walk to blind where the red circle is.

Couple of considerations for feeder locations. Blue and Orange circles in field are approximate where I would put feeders, one really has to be out there to get a better idea of the lay of the land and deer patterns 2cents

I would put one in the middle of the finger between the two corners created from the finger itself.

Kinda hard to just tell from that without having feet on the ground. I like the topo maps a lot but just judging from it, looks like it used to be farmed quite a bit at one point from the looks of those man-made terraces in the field. I would be looking around the property lines for indications of deer crossings and to see what the neighbors are doing near the fence lines first. Fence lines will tell a lot on the deer movement and then go from there. I see a few possible funnels for the deer but that isnt enough to indicate activity, only a possible location to start.. Put some trail cams out and see what pops up.

Thanks guys.. It is a rather small lease 150 acres about 90 in crp.. Nice size pond back in the tree lines and the back side of the property are fairly deep canyons the one on the west side is about impossible to go down it

This looks like west Texas, my guess is rolling plains area. If that is the case, remember that predominate wind is from the South.....
