My son is coming in to town (Midland) May 3rd and we'd like to do some hunting. It's been years since we hunted together. He's only looking to shoot is an axis doe for the meat (he's got a nice buck on the wall), I am looking for good mature black buck or axis buck.
Who do you recommend?

Could get you on a really nice black buck near bronte with a black buck doe there possibly others to choose from

I can't help you on the axis doe. We will be waiting until the lat fall when we may need to cull out more. I have a blackbuck herd of about 90 right now so there is plenty of trophy males.

I've got a STUD 33" buck that's wide and has great seconds - private deer camp cabin - $2950, meals and lodging. I can offer your son two black buck does for the same cost as a one axis doe ($450).
