lets hear some reasons as I would put my DXT in my hands against anything out there(and I am talking in the woods where it matters not a 20 yd indoor city boy range)

I don't think I have EVER heard a legitimate reason that Mathews "sucks". So, I too would be interested to hear valid, factual (not based on opinions) reasons or information that would explain why people say that "Mathews Sucks"...

mathews=overrated. too much hype for just an average bow.

It goes like this guys everybody has their own preference in bows. I shot mathews, bowtech, hoyte and the list goes on but mathews was the most comfortable to me. I think once again opinion based it is whatever bow you are the most comfortable but I dont think you should bash a bow brand just cause you did not like the way it felt. Just my two cents.

mathews are great i cant afford a new one but i have a used sq2 an love it

I am a Mathews owner and I love mine, I would however agree that Mathews went against everything that they have always stood for this year with their new line-up. I dont bash other brands as I think most are well built but my point is if you want to mouth off(do it intellegently with some facts or shut up)

the switch back and dxt are great bows.. ive owned both at one time or another... i have to say the reezen 6.5 is taking a little getting used to

My Mathews bow kills things just as dead as the other brands.

I like them because of the weight and the quietness. Who cares about the speed at the no more than 25 yard I will be shooing it

Yeah, if you a hunting over a feeder at 20 yards Mathews will do the job. If you are actually going out there and hunt, I wouldn't put a Mathews on my hands. I want as fast as possible. The Switchback XT, Outback, and Q2XL were all nice bows. Not smokin fast, but decent huntng bows. Pretty smooth on the draw as well. I killed a ton of stuff with mine. but when I changed from sitting at a feeder and shooting 20 yards to hunting trails going from bedding to feeeding areas with no feeder sitting at a known distance, I wasn't having as much luck as I had before, so I went to a lot faster bow and the sucess picked back up. In addition to that my tuning time and aggrivation went way down knock on wood I have been able to tune all of my X forces in under than 10 minutes where I used to spend hours trying to get my mathews to tune. I don't have to worry about what broadhead I am shoting (fixed or mechanical) my X Forces put them in the exact same spot as a field point out to 60 yards. And that is huge in my book.

Single cam bows are known for being smooth and quiet, and up until the Reezen Mathews kept producing smooth quiet bows. I found the reezen to not be as smooth as I thought it shuld be, and I think the Monster is even worse. IMO they need to go back to what got them this far and stop trying to make speed bows.

When a bow cost over $730 are you really get the best bang for your buck??? Just a thought.
