So I am going to go on a varmint hunt on a really big ranch just North of Turkey. Have not been up there in a few years to do any sort of calling. Wondering what we could expect to kill other than coyotes. Are there any greys? cats? Also what is typically your go to calls for this area? Prey Distress or more species specific calls? Really looking forward to it because its a beautiful ranch and going with some good friends!

Yes, they may all be there, and hogs as well.

Unless you specifically want coyotes, I'd run distress sounds. Coyote Vocals pretty much just call in coyotes. I've called in both coyotes and grays with fox distress.

Yeah I know the vocals are strictly for coyotes bUT down here where I'm from vocals are tough haha. We are extremely curious about greys. Though are they there?

I've never hunted near there, but there's pretty much Greys all over Texas. I saw one near downtown Austin years ago. Platinum distress is pretty awesome for Greys
