What's the opinion on these compared to the All Seasons stand and fill? I like the varmint guard on the Lamco as well as no exposed wires. The only thing I see missing is a sight glass.

Both good products, buy which ever is cheaper and has a better warranty.

Lamco. Varmimt plate pays for any price difference

Have both. Both are good feeders, but I do like the lamco better.

I like mine so far. Seems a little better built than the asf.

Very good feeder. Slight upgrade from the ASF due to the Varmint plate and the all-galvanized construction. But, slightly more $ too.

Thanks for the feedback. We have several of the 600lb AS but might give the Lamco a try. The 600lb Lamco is indeed more expensive than the same size AS but the 1,000lb is cheaper than the AS. I'm leaning towards the Lamco 1,000lb and will decide tomorrow when going through Kerrville.

Is there anywhere in the immediate DFW area or toward I20 West that sells Lamco feeders? According the their website, the nearest dealer is Alvarado and that is the wrong direction.

Sorry d&d had them for 770 and bear creek in junction had them for 749 plus tax. Buy more than one and ask for a deal and most will work with you. Especially during this time of the year.
