Anyone know where to get some big AR500 1/2" targets around Dallas? At least 10x10 size.
Thanks

Just sharing of experience.
500 yards and less, 1/2" is the way. 3/8" just doesn't hold up. At least not as much as mine get shot.
Beyond 500 yards, 3/8" AR 500 works just fine. On my range they have been shot with everything from .223 to .338 Lapua Mag, and everything in between. The 600 yard to 800 yard targets have zero damage.

Thanks guys, left a message for Travis.
1/2" for small close targets and 3/8 for big further out targets, thanks!
I wonder if 1/2" will hold up to 50bmg at 1k.

If you plan on shooting pistols 3/8 are good close if you use 1/2 for pistols it will ricochet.

www.fieldandcaveoutfitters.comThese are the same guys...Travis Frazier...good dude. He's spun up the field and cave to be a little different than the family business.

Thinking back it was 22 that ricochet. But either way the 1/2 is still over kill for standard pistol calibers. Shoot up to 454 with no issues on the 3/8 of denting or anything like that.

Yep, I just bought a 24 inch 3/8 target from Joseph for my 1000 yard range. Great guy to do business with and he puts out a quality product.
