JMO but I don't think thats a TDC High Rider. Probably just a guy looking for some fence jumping cow. I'd check with the neighbors to see who's been working cattle lately.

Since he's riding a horse, I'd check with tack supply stores, Ferriers, feed stores, saddle repair shops, etc.

Unless your camera has a pretty fast trigger speed, I doubt he is the 'first' rider involved. I can see from the camera angle that you have it pointed down the road a ways, but that horse is going faster than a canter, likely a slow gallop.
Hope you find out who it was.

We have a lease a couple miles off of 1696 about 6 miles east of Bedias, I have seen several times people riding horses along 1696 and have talked to a lot of them at the Barneys Gas Station @ 1696 and 75 who say that pretty commion. I would be to ask around Barneys Gas station, or the Citgo in Bedias. I would also talked to a State Trooper who is usually in the area, I see him almost al the time when I go out there right off of 1696. Im sure between that, someone could point you in the right direction.

I don't know about The Who. But that horse is very well maintained. Blurry or not his hooves are are sharply trimmed and shod. The rider sits easy in the saddle so he is a regular rider. I can't believe nobody around there knows who he is.

How does he enter your property, do you have an open entrance or fence down? Good luck catching whoever is stealing from y'all, may justice rain down hard on them

How does he enter your property, do you have an open entrance or fence down? Good luck catching whoever is stealing from y'all, may justice rain down hard on them Don't know about the OP's land...but our property is gated at all entrances facing the highway, but someone could easily enter from neighboring properties. As is common on many farms/ranches we have fence 'Gaps' that can be opened to gain access. We also have pipelines going through the property and they are gated (but not locked). The horse and rider pictured would seem to be in pursuit of something (perhaps stray livestock). The rider is clearly 'focused' on something. Judging by the posture of the horse and rider he is at a canter or slow gallop. Its hard to tell, but the rider might have a rope on the off side. The horse (while not as sturdy as we use) is outfitted with a stock saddle, a breast collar (for pulling) and looks like a tie down (for roping). So he is rigged for working stock. Whatever the case, the guy isn't out just pleasure riding. I'd also look to see if there was more than one set of hoofprints left behind. Bet there are.

What's a dazzling urbanite like you doing in a rustic setting like this? I got it, even if no one else did. This movie came out when I was about 15, and I laughed so hard that I hurt. As for it being a TDC horse......it's possible, but I have had property near a state prison farm for years and never see the guards out on the horses unless they're in uniform. I haven't seen the horses off of the prison property in a very long time. It's always possible, though. On some of the units, some of the guards live on the property. They could have been exercising a horse for fun on the weekend......but like I said, I've never seen that happen in the 27 years I've been near a prison.

Can't help you identify him, but I'm loving my new wireless game cameras I bought last month. Get game pics and of of the folks working for me right now. Really nice to know when they are there. I have another camera on my front gate that catches cars entering and leaving, time of day, and license plates. Sometimes pics are relayed < 1 minute, sometimes it's hours later, but I love it. Good luck identifying your trespasser. My place has been robbed so many times over the years, it's a real bummer.
