Haha, I recently wondered about this myself. The wife wasn't impressed when I brought it up...

I worked for a guy in the 80's. He grew up trapping on the Rocker B in Big Lake 30's and 40's. He ate everything he trapper on the Rocker B. Said coyote and bobcat were not that bag.

Never considered it. Hope and pray I never have to.

Coyote is not cool..... stinch is hard to get past..

I would try it for sure. Most meat tastes pretty similar.

Had to eat it in a survival situation back in the early 80's. It does not taste all that great as I recall. But it is palatable.

Maybe with the right seasoning it would be OK.

If I were in a survival situation, and happened to kill a coyote, I'd eat it. I'm guessing that I would have a much better chance of eating squirrel, fish, rabbit, birds, lizards, bugs, worms, etc before I came across the opportunity for coyote.

You know, my son cooked some tacos using turkey one time and and I told him it had so much seasoning, it could have been a dog turd it was so seasoned, so maybe I'll try it that way sometime.
