When your an athlete you have to wear athletic stuff. Sig P226 with TLR1 and extended mag. Carry it string side in a FFR holster. I use this setup on duty and off, holster included. Some days I'm wearing it 18hrs. Can't help you for wearing athletic shorts

When wearing athletic shorts it's almost always an LCR 38+p in an Elite Survival pocket holster.
If I wanted to go with a 9mm, it would probably be a Shield in a similar holster.

Those that wear gym shorts , how do you keep them from falling down when carrying ? Sometimes I walk outside at night in a pair of gym shorts and the heaviest I will carry is a Ruger LC9s in the front pocket but no way will I play ball with it pocketed .

I recently started carrying a Ruger LCR with a Remora no clip holster and I love it! Very comfy, wear it all day, doesn't bother me while sitting in the car either. If I am in a rush I will carry it appendix, but if I have time I will position it on my strong side. Don't give me any grief, but its a .22lr... Its very easy to shoot, has 8 rounds, and is supper light. I used to laugh at the thought of a .22 until I saw a petite little gal in a training class....... Her normal EDC was a 9mm, but she wanted to train with her tiny .22 for running. After sprinting, dodging and rolling, she came up fast and put all rounds in the face/neck of a silhouette target at 10 yards - in about 4 seconds. Then she looked me in the eye and said "so, you don't think that would be lethal?" She also commented that the total lack of recoil allowed her to stay on target, compared to the 9mm. I guess the point is: Practice, training, and attitude are perhaps more important that weapon selection. Marc

A Democracy is when two wolves and a lamb vote on the dinner menu. That is why this country was specifically not designed as a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.

Mostly a KelTec P32 in a pocket holster. But also a SW 340 PD in a SOB OWB Don Hume leather holster. Breaking in a Kahr CW 380 but she is still only green broke.

Shield 40 in an Osborn holster. Not wild about the end of the metal clips and need to change them out for something else.
It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

For summertime or when I want super lightweight, its one of these either loose in my pocket or in one of these depending on the garment
Silver spurs and gold tequila keep me hanging on. Pretty girls and old cantinas give me shelter from the storm.

and what holster system do you use? I normally wear under armor basketball shorts. What would be the best way to carry with those? I carry a sig 226 at work, but was looking for something a little smaller in a 9mm. Not too concerned about price. Mine is a Sig 239 if I'm wearing a jacket it rides in a Don Hume shoulder rig. No jacket and it's a Berreta Tom Cat in the right front pocket.
Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

two different options, one Ruger LCP which fits in my coat upper chest pocket or rear jeans pocket or an LCR 38special. I tried the S&W Bodyguard and liked the size, but I didn't like the trigger pull which was super long.
