Heard some out around Rocksprings, but think they were "high fence" gobblers.

Out in bertram. Hadn't heard any but didn't get here til 2. Saw a couple when idrove in and they are on the cameras. Might try to call a little from camp later if not too intoxicated! Hopefully can call one in, in the morning!!!

My place is Near Fort Mckavett and it is on! Heard 100+ gobbles Saturday morning and got a 9" beard - 19# bird Sunday morning. Best turkey hunting we've had in the past 4-5 years.

NMBlackgold,
I'm guessing about 20 birds. The ones without hens were coming to calls good, but I had one group of 3 gobblers and 7 hens come by and I never could get them close enough to my decoys for a shot. Should be good if you're hunting in that area.

hunt just out of rocksprings and couldnt buy a gobble this weekend.
No birds were talkin o movin! saw 2 lone hens and had 1 jake come check out some decoys in the P.M.

In Salado last evening the birds were talkin all over! im headin out there this week for some action with my bow!
