Does anyone remember them??? Do they still make them?? They were a Short .22 short. About 1/2 the length of a short and only had primer, NO power. They had a B B in the end in stead of a bullet. We used them to shoot pigeons in the 50's!! They were only good for about 25 yds! I guess I gave up my age>

Haven't seen those in years. Aguila makes a couple no powder loads in 22lr cases. They work well in revolvers but the lower powered one will often not make it out of a rifle battle. The Super one does ok most of the time from my rifle most of the time. They use a 20gr lead bullet
lf the saying "Liar, Liar your pants on fire" were true Mainstream news might be fun to watch

I think you mean CB Caps. Use them for feral cat control.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

BB caps and CB caps are two different things. If I remember correctly they would not punch all the way through a cardboard clay target box.

I meant B B Caps. They had a BB in the casing!

I used both when I was a kid, but haven't seen any for a very long time. I believe the CB cap was a 29 gr Short bullet with a shorter case and lighter charge than a regular .22 Short cartridge. The BB cap, even less powerful, fired a 22 cal round lead ball, not a BB.
