Freeze it and bring to the taxidermist whole. Let him do the dirty work for you, it will be well worth the $.

go from crazy crow trading post.

I like this idea. Can stab the pelt through the neck area with a bale spear and he'd never know the difference!

I thought the same the first time I started de-boning a deer on the new granite counter tops at the house....Now my wife doesn't even bat an eye when the grinder comes out or I'm breasting ducks/dove in the sink inside.
