Freeze it and bring to the taxidermist whole. Let him do the dirty work for you, it will be well worth the $.

Freeze it and bring to the taxidermist whole. Let him do the dirty work for you, it will be well worth the $. Use someone else's freezer if you do. Preferably someone you don't like.

you can get a pelt already tanned and ready to go from crazy crow trading post. no messin' with the stink and maybe disturbing your peaceful homelife

There was some guy on here a few years ago that was asking how to get the skunk smell out of his freezer. He had to have been single. I'm sure putting a skunk in the freezer would be a serious strain on a marriage. I thought the same the first time I started de-boning a deer on the new granite counter tops at the house....Now my wife doesn't even bat an eye when the grinder comes out or I'm breasting ducks/dove in the sink inside.
