Bought a 20 and 12 on sale paid $850.00 total for both. No issues with either one. Have not shot my SBE in 5 years!

Stoeger M3500 for $600 in black and $700 in camo. Inertia system and three or four chokes come with them. I've been very pleased.
I just turned it on . I was looking bird dogs in the butt this morning.

I'm seeing that they are $850 apiece. Edit: Nevermind! Cabela's has them in sale in synthetic stock for $430. Seems like a screaming deal.

Winner. I would pit this gun against ones costing $500 more.

I agree with the Stoeger, everyone I know that has one likes it. Plus they are a Benelli product. I had a Mossberg 935 several years ago when you could get it for about $550-600. That gun was awesome, it was in my younger years when I still duck hunted public land and it got abused but still functioned flawlessly for a long time. After about 8-10 years of being thrown in the bottom of a leaking canoe and lord knows what else it started to malfunction, turned out to be the rod/spring in the stock were rusted.

If you are on a budget like me, I just bought a 12 ga Tristar viper g2 with camo for $475. It has synthetic stock, comes with 3 benelli chokes and is gas operated. The only reviews I found were positive so I went ahead and took a chance. I have only run about 10 shells through it so far but it has handled great. Check back with me at the end of the season and I will let you know how it handled.

I've never seen that offered, but it sounds cool. What was the price, if you don't mind me asking?

Beretta A 300 is by far the best value on the market.

I picked up a chiappa 12 camo toward end of last season. Same bolt design as Beretta. I really like it. Shoulders well, smooth action, came with three chokes, fairly light, doesn't kick bad with inertia driven bolt, and was cheap. I got it at academy...can't remember exact price but it was 100_200 less than the Beretta

Beretta A 300 is by far the best value on the market. I'm in the market and trying to decide between the Stoeger M3500 and Beretta A300. Prices around holidays make them pretty similar. Have heard/read great things about both in my research. Coin toss? Any input appreciated...

Another vote for the Stoeger M3500. I've had it for 3 full seasons now and working on my fourth. Never had any issues other than it didn't like cycling some really light dove loads which is not really what I got the gun for...
I love it. Wish I had gone with the waterfowl version. Nobody had that in stock when I got mine, or I would've...
