Killed this strange fella Saturday am. Saw him last year as well, figured I'd give him another year just because I was really curious what he'd do. He weighed 139lb and was the fattest WT I've ever skinned. As usual for them, still totally in velvet. Since they don't rut or fight, they basically get like a big fed-up steer, just eating machines. What stones he did have were shrunken and sucked up inside him, which is typical for these guys. We've got a few more on cam; One of the odder aspects of our area for sure.

I hunt in Llano too and one of our guys just shot one like this, we killed another few years ago that had a freaky rack. This was about 4 years ago, had him on camera  This one was killed last Saturday as well
