Coke County got hammered last week... more rain coming the next 3 days Still is, along with Mitchell Counties. I backed off going. Did not want to tear up my roads. But. Rain is a good thing.

Light rains periodically yesterday, upper 60's. 80% chance this afternoon after 12pm same temps. Forecast for rain here through Thursday.. All this following around 1.40" last Thursday.

Started drizzling here in a coleman about 9:00 last night and hasn't stopped. It also sprinkled pretty good right after I got into my stand this morning.

All I gotta say is if you guys don't get out immediately after an extended heavy rain you are going to miss out on the best time for deer movement.

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

 Raining here, but I've a roof on my blind. I'll be here till dark. 
I Feed Indian Corn. The deer love it and all the colors make them stay at the feeder longer.

Raining in Runnels... Keep it coming, Ivie isn't full yet!  it's going to need a lot of rain but every bit helps. This rain will fill Hubbard Creek back up, I believe it was about 1.5' low before our Wednesday rain. Just checked, HC is past full pool.

Hunted this morning til 8:30, but left when the lightning got within 5 miles. Pulled Mule into barn seconds before the downpour came - buckets! Brown County.
