So my daughter is only 3, and she is getting more and more curious about daddy's hunting and fishing. I've started teaching her gun safety with a nerf gun already and she has her own fishing pole she's been learning to cast and reel. This weekend I had some finishing touches to make on my new box blind I built for her and I (new lease for me this year). I took her for her first trip and besides the heat, she absolutely loved it! Riding on top of the center console she giggled and smiled as we rode the trails. We had a little work to do filling the feeder too. Early morning arriving at camp Learning to climb the ladder while daddy works on his blind Playing in "her" new house... LOL I told her I needed to put corn in the feeder, so when I pulled up to the pen she went up here and asked "How do you get it there daddy? It's to tall!" I was getting another bag and I hear her say "I want to see the corn", to turn around and catch her halfway up the ladder. I let her finish climbing and took the pic, then helped her down and lectured her about waiting for help climbing tall things. Her momma about killed me when she saw this pic...

Awesome, my girls like to go but don't get out of the truck much. They enjoy riding around though, glad to see your daughter is loving it!

Ladder over feeder with un-capped t-posts below, ready to impale you = no-bueno!
Get rid of t-posts OR put safety caps on them = much better chance of surviving IF you come down unexpectedly from top of ladder. Seems there's a story or two every year from un-lucky hunter who DOESNT make it home from this avoidable mis-hap!
Keep things safe for kiddo(s) AND YOU - they need you to be around for a while ....
