Have about 1 acre worth of natural growing millet along a lake edge, half in water on a private property. Do we need to cut or do anything to it for duck season and if so, when? Again, this is natural millet that has been coming back for years.

i personally wouldn't do anything except flood it if possible, I plant the majority of ponds every year, and milet is pretty good about finishing its cycle, turning yellow, and falling over. Especially if a good wind and or frost hits it. Over half of mine is laying flat as we speak.
